Viz confirms no TV Airing

Cartoon Network’s new programming has no room for Viz


At Anime Expo VIZ representatives confirmed that the Nartuo series would not be aired on TV due to the Cartoon Network’s shift away from licensing content. The Cartoon Network has moved to developing new programing internally and are shifting viewership to online portals.

In related news, Viz also confirmed the forthcoming release of the first Naruto Shippuden feature film in November with no additional details available at this time.
